Three hundred and seventy Palestinian citizens were either kidnapped or
detained by the Zionist regime forces last June in different Palestinian
areas.
According to a report released by the Palestinian Prisoner Center for
Studies, one hundred and thirty of those citizens were taken prisoners
during Israeli forces' campaigns in the occupied city of Bait
al-Moqaddas, while about 100 others were from al-Khalil and 24, mostly
fishermen, from the Gaza Strip.
The Palestine Information Center reported that among the detainees,
there were a mentally ill young man from Jenin named Muayad al-Saadi and
journalist Fatima Abu Sebaitan, who works for Quds Press.
During June, the Israeli police and army forces kidnapped more than
65 Palestinian children, mostly from their homes in Bait al-Moqaddas.
The youngest child was nine-year-old Ahmed Shuweiki, a resident of al-Thawri neighborhood in Bait al-Moqaddas.
