Gazans mark 5th anniv. of israel’s deadly raid on the 1st Freedom Flotilla

Palestinians in the blockaded Gaza Strip commemorate the 5th anniversary of Israel’s deadly raid on the first Freedom Flotilla. It was on May the 31, 2010 that Israeli forces attacked the six civilian ships in the international waters of the Mediterranean Sea and killed nine activists on board. The flotilla was carrying humanitarian aid and construction materials, with the intention of breaking the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip.
