At least seven Palestinian civilians were kidnapped by the Israeli
occupation forces (IOF) across cities of the West Bank at predawn time
on Thursday.
Hebrew media outlets quoted the Israeli army spokesperson as stating
that seven Palestinians were arrested in various parts of the West Bank
on pretext of involvement in anti-occupation activities and affiliations
with Hamas.
The arrests reportedly took place in the West Bank provinces of Ramallah, Tulkarem, Bethlehem, and al-Khalil.
The arrestees have been referred to Israeli security agencies pending further interrogation.
The Israeli occupation has stepped up its quasi-daily
search-and-arrest campaigns in various parts of the West Bank in pursuit
of allegedly “wanted” Palestinians.
Meanwhile, a PIC news reporter said the IOF abducted the university
student Khaled Usfur from al-Khalil’s town of Dura after they broke into
his family home and ravaged it at the crack of dawn.
The detainee was dragged to the Gush Etzion detention center for further investigation.
